High Scoring Games
In light of Man Cs demolition of Watford today what high scoring games have you been to whether on the winning or losing side?

The few I remember that I was at are:

West Ham 5 Bradford 4 (Di Canio and Lampard pen argument)
West Ham 6 Barnsley 0 (Abou running the game)
West Ham 3 WBA 4 (Disgraceful meltdown)
West Ham 3 Wimbledon 4 (About 200 Don's fans in away end)

Re: High Scoring Games
I was at the Bradford 5-4 and Wimbledon 3-4 games. Saw us beat Hull 7-1 with Steve Potts scoring and Man Utd beat us 7-1 after we went 1-0 up and came close to another.

Also saw PSV Eindhoven beat Leeds 5-3 at Elland Road when I was at the Poly. I think Wim Jonk got a ha trick in the days when Leeds had Strachan, McAllister and Yeboah. Ronaldo would have played but was injured.

Re: High Scoring Games
I seem to miss the big victories - biggest I've been there for was 5-0 vs Charlton.

Been to at least three where we've lost by that score.

Was at the Bradford 5-4, and I've seen us score 5 a couple of other times, but the Charlton one was the only one where we kept a clean sheet.

Saw us lose 2-8 to Blackburn, in 63. Then, a couple of days later, we went up to Blackburn and won 1-3.

Re: High Scoring Games
I was also at the Brighton 6-0 and Portsmouth 4-3 from Allardyce’s first season. The Portsmouth game was possibly the most boring 4-3 ever. Really dreadful long ball shit.

Easter bank holiday weekend 1993 dragged up to Birmingham by my Swindon supporting mates to watch ...

Birmingham 4-6 Swindon

(Brum we’re 4-1 up with half hour to go)

Re: High Scoring Games
Was at....

Bury 10-0 win
Newcastle 8-0 win
Chelsea 0-4 win
Spurs 4-1 win
Chelsea 5-3 win
Spurs 4-3 win

Plus more we tonked quite a few teams in the early 80’s usually at the start of the season.

One that really hit a nerve was that poxy 6-0 to Reading one NYD. The Wimbledon 3-4 hurt too. There’s been more drubbings i’ve seen that i’ve blocked out.

I am not sure if its Zoltanering or reverse but I did see all three of the 4-0 losses in a 9 days under that wanker curbs

I wanted to give up after the spurs game
